Preparation Awareness Vision and Execution: A new model for training
passing. - A Manual by Gavin Spooner
- This is a competitive level training
program that addresses many of the problems that coaches reinforce through
the ‘standard’ passing activities that they use. It is highly active,
requires a lot of decision making, and creates the constant need for
movement off the ball. From experience, the most common topic that coaches
want help with at the competitive level is “how can I train movement off
the ball?” PAVE provides the answer for this major component of the game
in an easy structure. The manual came out of working as a DOC and DPD for
youth clubs over the last 12 years. The manual is a web based PowerPoint
presentation.
